I am relieved to find that despite distance, personal change, and the passing of time,there exists bonds between people that remain constant. It is possible to grow separately from people without growing apart. I was worried that after years of not seeing my best friend from childhood that things would be distant or awkward between us. To my surprise and joy, we clicked instantly...some things never change.
