A 5-year-old girl shields her face for a moment from a gust of wind with her favorite chicken, Steve, after running to catch him for 10 minutes on her father’s farm in Deary, Idaho. “One time I squished a chicken so hard that an egg fell out,” she said.
Today, I cannot stop smiling. And how is that? It's all very simple. I get up, I go, I do, I see, I listen, I put one foot in front of the other, and along the way I do my very best to enjoy it.
This video is from one of my absolute favorite movies. Up. It depicts a lifetime--and for that it always makes me want to smile and cry at the same time.
